Write your Oregon Legislators
There are 90 legislators in the Oregon Legislature. Each one will have an important role regarding this legislation and you should be equipped with reaching out to them. Here are ways to do so:
Email your state senators and state representatives explaining your position on these issues and why they need to support medical freedom in Oregon.
Make personal phone calls to your legislators.
Request an in-person meeting with your legislators.
Educate the media
Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper about your position on these issues.
Email your local radio station about this issue, ask them to address it, and share your position opposing this legislation
Show Up!
Show up to local town hall meetings to ask questions and voice concerns. Remember to always be respectful, have your questions or concerns practiced ahead of time, and keep it short (1-2 minutes max).
